My Wild Ride: April Full to April Fail

Hello Newcomer! Thanks for visiting, and please excuse the site’s outdated material. I’m Romero Cleveland, thanks for visiting Amplified Aid. My fight against hunger has been a chaotic mess. Months ago, I launched Amplified Aid as a music nonprofit, racing to honor Live Aid’s 40th anniversary in 2025. Big mistake. It got overwhelming fast—music creation, promoting, collaboration, and revenue hunting, you name it—pulled me from the reason for the season: hunger relief. April Full was my naive dream of a hunger awareness month with music drops, NGO spotlights, Live Aid flashbacks, and more. April Half-Full was a hope to salvage the last half of the month with hunger awareness content and the music drops that I’d only then had. At the end of the month came April Fail: my wake-up call. I’m not an entrepreneur, but I probably never was. What I HAVE always been, though, was creative, so I’m pivoting Amplified Aid into a content creation, influencer, and advocacy platform to amplify the work of Famine Fighters. Operating as an ordinary person, I’m free to try radical tactics to spark conversations, educate, drive NGO donations, and address my personal beefs and PUBLICLY DEMAND THE BRUTAL MURDER OF AN ENTIRE FAMILY.

Exclusive TBA Surprise for New Patrons

Join the Amplified Aid Patreon by May 15, 2025, and score a To-Be-Announced Surprise Reward! I’m drowning in tasks—editing videos for Veil (Gender Inequality), prepping a new podcast, revamping socials, and the Amplified Aid website—so I need time to craft something epic for you by June 1, 2025. Every pledge and every tier qualifies. Your support lets me hit the ground running on creating content that wakes the world, and VIOLENTLY EXECUTE THE WORST FAMILY OF JERKS IN THE WORK.

Kill the Worst Family of All Time

Meet the Global Famine Family—15 ruthless tormentors causing world hunger (aka food insecurity). My new campaign, Kill the Worst Family in the World, aims to murder their influence with in-your-face content, exposing their crimes and rallying donations to Famine Fighter NGOs. This is version 4 of these concept characters (v1 was FORKNITE NFT supervillains, v2 reimagined them as people, v3 fleshed out personalities with v1 dossiers), and v4 Famine Family should perfect v2 dossiers to make these bastards the ultimate enemies you’ll love to hate. Here’s a v1 dossier sample, to be grittier in v2: (update: v2 dossiers are crazy, insightful, sad, and angering)

Warthorn, the Fractured Warmonger

  • AKA: Conflict
  • Villain Power: Ignites strife, obliterates food systems, scatters communities, sowing hunger.
  • Bio: A warlord born from endless wars, Warthorn burns Yemen’s fields, fuels Syria’s displacement, and trashes Ukraine’s harvests. He stokes South Sudan’s ethnic clashes and Congo’s militia raids, leaving markets empty.
  • Weakness: Diplomacy, reconciliation, humanitarian aid.
  • NGO Nemeses: World Food Programme (WFP), Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), Oxfam, Action Against Hunger.
  • Quote: “My wars grind your fields to dust, and hunger claims the spoils.”

Through videos, social media, articles, and #KillFamineFam challenges, I’ll expose all 15 scumbags, and celebrate NGOs like The Hunger Project (THP) and CARE, to make Sarah McLachlan style sad eye ads look like cassette tape record players.

Sustainable Solutions For Zero Hunger

When I first began my global famine interest, the first NGO that caught my eye was The Hunger Project, because of the ability to donate with cryptocurrency. After I learned more about them, I fell in love because of their Epicenter Strategy,  a badass way to end hunger. It empowers rural communities in Africa, South Asia, and Latin America, transforming  15,000 lives per epicenter over 8-10 years with infrastructure, microfinance, nutrition programs, sustainable farming, and more. It tackles 8 causes of food insecurity:

  1. Poverty: Income projects.
  2. Gender Inequality: Women leading the charge.
  3. Malnutrition: Health programs.
  4. Lack of Education: Community schools.
  5. Poor Health: Clinics.
  6. Food Insecurity: Farming improvements..
  7. Weak Governance: Local partnerships.
  8. Environmental Challenges: Eco-friendly practices.

Not a fan of the cookie-cutter “Feed the Children” material, I’m diving deep into how NGOs like THP make real change for hunger survivors.

Investigative Reporting: Zero Hunger by 2030?

The UN’s SDG 2 wants Zero Hunger by 2030, but policy change, planning, and construction take time.  For instance,  THP’s Epicenters take 15 years for 10,000 people, and they are mostly in Africa. With millions hungry elsewhere, facing different Famine Family bastards, I’m confused as hell as to how this could happen. Hop in the passenger seat and let’s figure it out together:

  • Who’s Helping? Grill THP, WFP, and other NGOs.
  • What’s Missing? Dig into funding, locations, impact, and scale.
  • Where’s the Finish Line? Crunch numbers on 2030 progress and estimate an end date.

Patreon funds will fuel travel, interviews, and brutally honest reports to answer some burning questions.

Food Waste Offsets: New Donation Stream Coming

Food Waste Offsets will let people and businesses offset their food waste by donating to Famine Fighter NGOs, like carbon offsets for your carbon footprint. Example: a coffee shop wasting 100 pounds monthly donates $50, funding 20+ meals when food banks can’t save by redistribution. Version 1 was just a food waste calculator that estimated the resources wasted on trashed items, v2 is on AmplifiedAid.org with first draft pricing packages,  and v3 will launch a beta. On the back burner, to complete I’ll:

  • Develop Framework: Craft an accurate waste-to-donation calculator.
  • Partner Up: Direct funds to THP, Oxfam, and others.

Your pledges will fund the development to make this a reality.

Live Aid Reboot: Let’s Murder Hunger with Music

Let’s revive and improve a great idea that’s worked in the past with a Live Aid reboot: streaming donated songs, with 100% proceeds to artists’ chosen Famine Fighter NGOs. To kick off the collection, I’ve made three tracks from Amplified Aid’s nonprofit days (less than 30 ago): classical remixes of Moonlight Sonata, Canon in D, and Cello Suite. These could launch the platform if I lost Drake or Latto’s phone numbers. The plan:

  • Revamp Accounts: Update streaming platforms for the new model.
  • Engage Artists: Connect with popular musicians.
  • Stream Globally: Use YouTube, Spotify, Tidal.
  • Boost Donations: Fans buy tracks to fund NGOs.

Patreon funds will cover setup, artist outreach, licensing, legal needs, and promotion.

What Your Pledge Powers

Your Patreon Support Fuels:

  • Content Creation: Games, tools, videos, new Famine Family crossovers, lesson plans, advocacy guides.
  • Investigative Work: Travel, research, and reporting.
  • Food Waste Offsets: Calculator, operations, and marketing.
  • Live Aid Reboot: Platform setup, artist engagement, and marketing.
